Morphology
Hyphae yellowish brown, smooth, 2.5-3.5 μm wide, soon converted into chains of arthroconidia which disarticulate easily, leaving a prominent scar on the supporting hypha.? Conidia yellowish brown, with firm walls, usually intercalary, adjacent or alternate and connected by hyaline, thin-walled and fragile cells which soon collapse and deteriorate.? Conidia cubic to cylindrical sometimes curved, 3-6 x 2.4-3.5 μm, with conspicuous frills at both ends.
